APPLICATION PROCESS
Standard application forms and resumes are required to apply for
all positions at the City of Lake Stevens. Additionally, specific supplemental information is generally required and must be submitted along with the standard application form. Each job announcement has its own application packet which will include the job announcement, the standard application form, job description, any applicable
required supplements, and forms to begin the background check process if you’re selected to go on in the process.

Job offers for employment for certain physically demanding positions will be conditioned on satisfactory results of a post-offer medical examination or inquiry. Background checks are conducted on all applicants who are selected to continue in the
post-offer process.
NOTIFICATION OF SELECTION PROCESS
Once a position has closed, all applicants will be notified in writing within 30 days if they are or are not invited to continue in the selection process. If you have not received notification of your
