Entry-level Police Officer job applicants must return their application and other necessary documentation to PublicSafetyTesting.com; applications for Lateral (Experienced), Reserve and Cadet positions should be returned to the Lake Stevens Police Department. POLICE OFFICER (LATERAL - EXPERIENCED)
The Lake Stevens Police Department continually accepts applications from Lateral - Experienced Police Officer candidates.  Note that the Lake Stevens Civil Service Commission considers a Lateral - Experienced Police Officer candidate to be a currently employed, full-time, civilian law enforcement officer with a city, county, state or federal agency who has successfully completed the Washington State Criminal Justice Training Commission's Basic Law Enforcement Academy; or has previously worked in that capacity within the last 24 months; or whose prior training qualifies them to attend the Washington State Criminal Justice Training Commission's Basic Law Enforcement Equivalency Academy.  Please contact the Lake Stevens Police Department at (425) 334-9537 for further information or
