PATROL DIVISION
The Patrol Division of Lake Stevens Police Department is the most visible to the public and they respond to a wide variety of calls. The Patrol Division is responsible for providing the citizens of the City of Lake Stevens with the highest level of professional police service and protection. Commander Dan Lorentzen leads the Patrol Division, which stands on the "front-line" of most police requests for service and provides the majority of the public safety and peacekeeping needs to the City of Lake Stevens.
The officers assigned to the Patrol Division are dedicated towards working in partnership with the members of our community in anticipating and preventing problems and to improving the quality of life for our City’s residents and visitors.
The Patrol Division is comprised of four crews that are each staffed by three Police Officers and one Patrol Sergeant. Patrol Sergeants provide training and supervision for patrol officers and oversee all patrol operations. They take command of critical incidents and crime scenes, and ensure that the Patrol Division is operating efficiently.
