WELCOME TO LAKE STEVENS PARKS AND TRAILS
The City of Lake Stevens doesn't consider parks as just amenities but considers them a necessity that is essential to the well being and health of the entire community. Parks create opportunities to refresh ourselves and experience nature; with over 60 acres of parks and trails, connectivity to the Centennial Trail and public access to our pristine lake there is something here in Lake Stevens for everyone to enjoy.

Named for the stream that forms its eastern border, Catherine Creek Park consists of a network of trails in a tall stand of conifers. The gravel trails provide a quiet retreat in the middle of town. The park is home to an 18 hole disk golf course which is fun for beginners and challenges even the best of players. Players from all over the region come to take on the tricky and scenic course. Thanks to Dr. Fred Chittenden for designing, building and maintaining the course.

Northcove Park is a popular downtown lake front destination, home to many exciting events and activities. The waterfront stage hosts Music in the Park concerts during summer months and the upper lawn area is home to the Lake Stevens Farmers Market. Picnic Tables scattered throughout the park provide visitors with a picturesque view to enjoy lunch or spectacular sunset dinners. A boardwalk that extends into the north cove area is a favorite fishing spot for many locals. |
Eagle Ridge Park
2302 Soper Hill Road
This park is home to the Lake Stevens Senior Center and a couple of local celebraties known as George and Martha; these resident American Bald Eagles have nested in the lower portion of the park since at least 1992, returning every year to raise their young.
The lower back portion of the park has a trail system that winds through a significant wetland. Although this area was heavily logged during the late 1980's (prior to the City aquiring the property) the wetlands have regeneratd and contain several active springs and a wildlife corridor linking Ebby Slough and Lake Stevens.
